Local historian and author Carlos Moreno brings his talk to Fulton Street Books & Coffee on Monday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. He will cover the history of racial tension in the United States leading up to the Civil War through today, and lend an understanding into why the themes of Othello fit the Civil War time period.
